Webmaster David Munn oversees the website functionality and noted a pleasing financial spike:
“There was such a phenomenal increase in the amount of revenue, we changed it so all teams signed up (online) before they played a match.”
David’s advice is it’s a no-lose proposition for clubs who have yet to try Pitchero Payments. Like Greenisland FC did, he advises at least trying with one team and seeing if it saves time and increases funds into the club.
He’s an advocate for the way managing a club’s payments online can reduce the workload for volunteers:
“Pitchero Payments frees the coaches’ time up. They don’t have any worry about collecting dues. It’s absolutely fantastic.”
With their Player-Coach Memberships, there’s a voluntary weekly donation of £1 included so Gift Aid can be claimed by the club which adds up over the course of the season.
Equally, Greenisland FC have found that using Pitchero Payments means clubs receive the funds up front rather than the revenue from players coming in week-to-week and volunteers having to chase.
