NatWest RugbyForce Wales is Back
NatWest RugbyForce Wales is back, bigger and better than ever. We’re offering grassroots clubs in Wales the opportunity to be awarded grants to improve their club’s facilities and to enable everyone in the community to access their local club. For 2019, NatWest RugbyForce Wales weekend will fall on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of August.
Last year NatWest RugbyForce provided support to almost 60 clubs across Wales, helping to make a real difference to grassroots rugby clubs and their local communities through grant funding and practical advice.
This year we want to get as many clubs as possible involved and to make rugby accessible for all, allowing every member of the community to use and enjoy their local club.
Clubs who register for NatWest RugbyForce Wales are in with the chance of being awarded a host of exciting rewards and practical benefits, from cash grants to help to make your club a place for everyone in the community.
The more detail you share in your entry about what makes your club and its members so dedicated to the grassroots game and how your project will enable your whole community to access and enjoy your club, the better your reward might be!
Two outstanding clubs will also be named our ‘NatWest RugbyForce Wales Showcase Club’. The two clubs will not only win a grant of £1,000 but will also receive a £500 food and beverage voucher for the weekend and a visit from Welsh rugby legend, Sam Warburton who will help out with your project.
In addition to the two winning showcase clubs, 58 clubs will be awarded grant money and all clubs that register will receive a supporter pack:
1. NatWest RugbyForce Grant
NatWest will be awarding 50 clubs a grant of £400 to help them with the development of their club this season, 8 exceptional clubs will also win a larger cash grant of £1,000.
2. NatWest RugbyForce supporter pack
All registered clubs will receive a NatWest RugbyForce supporter pack which includes banners, t-shirts, as well as some handy club essentials such as kicking tees, branded balls and training bibs to help you celebrate and promote your NatWest RugbyForce weekend.

To be in with a chance of being awarded a grant and being named our NatWest RugbyForce showcase club, all you need to do to be a part of NatWest RugbyForce is tell us how you plan to enable more members of the community to access your club by Tuesday 4th June.
